Welcome to the web home of Kamp Across From the Dunes Thanks for stopping by today!  Our family campground is located  directly across from Warren Dunes State Park which is on the shores of beautiful Lake Michigan in Sawyer, Michigan. This Southwestern Michigan facility offers full hook-ups as well as primitive camping sites. A dump station is available for your convenience also.   Planning a Trip to Lake Michigan & Warren Dunes??? We have all of your camping needs right here on our grounds: Camp store (for whatever you forgot to bring including ice), Game Room (fun for all ages) and Shower House (only .25 cents). In our store we carry delicious hard-packed ice cream, homemade waffle cones and Slushies to help you cool off on those hot summer days. Along with everything from charcoal to sun tan lotion to beach umbrellas to make your stay with us a wonderful experience. Firewood is also available for relaxing in the evening. The kids will enjoy our game room with a pool table and video games. We are also the beginning point for miles of biking paths right on our grounds. If it's summertime in Michigan, it's time for camping! Come on over and join in the fun. Area Attractions ...... There is plenty to keep you busy in our area. Here are some suggestions: Captain Mikes Go-Karts, area Wineries and golf courses, organized hiking/biking trails, Cook Nuclear Plant, many antique shops and restaurants. Warren Dunes State Park offer numerous recreational activities such as charter fishing, canoeing and the " famous" Tower Hill climb. Grand Mere State Park is another location for a day at the beach. The Lake Michigan shoreline is also dotted with vintage lighthouses just waiting for you to explore. Or you may choose to just kick back and enjoy some downtime here at the campground.
